Found a very sweet article on Uma’s father Robert Thurman which was published in The New York Times on October 28, 2007. He sure seems to be a very nice man :smile:
This must come as extra good news to Robert Thurman. Over the years he has been referred to in many ways: a Buddhist monk; a translator of Tibetan and Sanskrit writings; as one of the founders of Tibet House, the nonprofit organization that promotes Tibetan culture; a Columbia University religion professor; the father of Uma Thurman; and even, 10 years ago, one of the 25 most influential Americans, in Time magazine. But at home, in Woodstock, N.Y., his youngest son, Mipam, calls him something else: Gorilla Fingers.
