Uma and Tarantino had ‘big blow-up’

Posted on 12 June, 2009 | 1 Comment

Uma Thurman has revealed she and Quentin Tarantino had a “big battle”, but they have sorted out their differences.

The actress has worked with the director on Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill and he has called her his muse.

Uma told Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “Quentin and I… of course we’d work together – we’re in communication, we had a big blow-up, a big battle, but we got over it.”

Uma and Tarantino were once rumoured to be stepping out together, but later denied they had dated.

Meanwhile, the 39-year-old mother-of-two describes herself as a “complete real estate addict”.

She said: “I would buy a country house in virtually every country in the world if I could. I also want a country house in Italy, France, Switzerland; I have aspirations in Mexico… virtually all coastal regions. I just have this constant curiosity to open a clam in every country and eat the squirming things from every shore.”

Uma may even want to buy a house in Britain.

She revealed: “I love it in London. I wish I could be here more often. I meet more people in London in one weekend than I do in maybe 10 years in New York. It’s a place where not only do people seem funnier and more entertaining to you, but you seem funnier and more entertaining to yourself.”
